The Blake Bortles Generation: Are Young QBs Too Athletic for Their Own Good?

Blake Bortles is rising as a star quarterback for the Jaguars. Their future is very bright, but their could be one drawback. Staying healthy is key if he, and the Jags franchise wants to be successful in later years. This is the theme for many young qbs. Staying healthy.
In my opinion, this is true. Many quarterbacks are known as dual threats. Cam Newton, RGIII (injury prone), Andrew Luck are just an example of the many in the NFL. Having a dual threat qb is a huge advantage for your offense, yet the chance of your most important piece on the team has a much higher chance to get injured. They are exciting to watch, but may not be best for the team overall.

exposure-the amount of light per unit area

tiff-a computer file format for storing raster graphics images, popular among graphic artists, the publishing industry, and both amateur and professional photographers in
general. The format was originally created by the company Aldus for use in desktop publishing.

White balance- the process of removing unrealistic color casts, so that objects which appear white in person are rendered white in your photo.

Histogram- A diagram consisting of rectangles whose area is proportional to the frequency of a variable and whose width is equal to the class interval.

Aperture- A device that controls the amount of light admitted through an opening. In photography and digital photography, aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor.

Shutter speed-exposure time is the length of time when the film or digital sensor inside the camera is exposed to light, also when a camera’s shutter is open when taking a photograph.

Depth of field-focus range or effective focus range, is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image

Aperture priority-on a camera mode dial, is a setting on some cameras that allows the user to choose a specific aperture value while the camera selects a shutter speed to match, thereby ensuring proper exposure.

Shutter priority-a setting on some cameras that allows the user to choose a specific shutter speed while the camera adjusts the aperture to ensure correct exposure.

Bitmap- A representation in which each item corresponds to one or more bits of information. The information is used to control the display on a computer screen.

Exposure-a tool to create beautiful photo narratives

Watermarking- originally faint imprints on paper that could only be seen at a specific angle. This process was designed to prevent counterfeiting and is still used today.

optical zoom-on a digital camera, optical zoom is a true zoom feature. It allows you to zoom in (or out) on the subject in the LCD or viewfinder. This will enable you to get a closer view of the subject before taking your picture.

digital zoom- Digital zoom is a method of decreasing the apparent angle of view of a digital photographic or video image. Digital zoom is usually accomplished by scaling portion of the image data (usually center) to have same aspect ratio as well as pixel dimensions compared to the original image.

exposure compensation- is a technique for adjusting the exposure indicated by a photographic exposure meter, in consideration of factors that may cause the indicated exposure to result in a less-than-optimal image.

Man Shot in Wheelchair

Police Shooting
Delaware police shoot man in wheelchair; his relatives ask why
http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/25/us/delaware-police-shoot-man-wheelchair/index.html
A man paralyzed waist down shot and killed. Jeremy McDole was 28, and didn’t cooperate with the police as they asked for him to put his hands up. As a result, the mayor and family want answers for the killing.
I feel like maybe the officers didn’t have to shoot him so soon. But, McDole didn’t cooperate with the officers and was also still armed. This event affected me because it lets me know what’s going on in my country.
I think this event will just add-on to the uprise of “Black Lives Matter.” Where the white man is “racist” for shooting a black man, and him being paralyzed will probably make it even worse.

Tom Brady Defeats the NFL

The topic is Tom Brady overcoming his 4-game suspension.
Judge rules in favor of Tom Brady in Deflategate; NFL appeals decision
I got this article from ESPN.com
This article is about Tom Brady and the deflated balls the Patriots used in the AFC Championship game against the Colts.Brady had to overcome his suspension by competing with Roger Goodell and the NFL. Brady defeated the NFL and got his 4-game suspension overruled.
I feel like Brady deserved to win the trial and defeat Goodell. I feel like it’s a theme with the Patriots now. It seems as if every time you look around the corner, on the headlines it has something to do with them cheating. This event shows me that Brady and the Patriots can do whatever they want, when they want. Also, it makes me feel like the Patriots will definitely continue their trend.
This event impacts the world by letting everyone know that follows the NFL that the Patriots are still on top and can do anything with little or no punishment. It just shows that their power by defeating this obstacle. The Patriots have a will to win that was shown in this case. Whether it’s spying on other teams or using deflated balls, it seems as if they’ll do about anything to win. People now know that the Patriots can defeat Goodell and the NFL.
